Rue Stanley and other local artists Unite for a Unique Exhibition at The Horton in June
The Horton Arts Centre is set to host an extraordinary art exhibition featuring the innovative works of renowned experimental mixed media artist Rue Stanley, alongside four exceptionally talented local artists. The exhibition is running from Tuesday, June 25th to Saturday, July 6th 2024, and promises to be a vibrant celebration of diverse artistic expressions, with over 120 captivating artworks on display and available for purchase.
Rue Stanley, known for her surreal and quirky mixed-media creations, has curated this unique exhibition, bringing together an eclectic mix of artistic styles and perspectives. Rue’s work challenges the boundaries of traditional art, merging various media to create pieces that are both thought-provoking and visually stunning.
Joining Rue are four distinguished local artists, each bringing their distinctive flair to the exhibition:
- Emma Champion, who specializes in cameraless photography, offers viewers a fresh and intriguing approach to photographic art.
- Laurence Berle, a wildlife photographer whose detailed and dynamic depiction of animals and natural scenes invites audiences into the wild.
