Since her debut at Denbies and a return with a much larger body of work last December, artist Sam Kennedy has been taking some big steps with her art in 2023.
Since the December exhibition, Sam has had a display of her smaller works at the Hideaway Cafe in Guildford (which will be up for another month). The venue has space for four artists a year, and Sam secured the Spring slot, and held a private view event, with a raffle and live music. Check out the website for the Hideaway Cafe, to see what is on, and what space is available to rent.
Sam also got published in ‘Artist Talk Magazine’ where her ‘Magpies’ got a full page to themselves, and an artist write-up. Sam’s Magpies are up in London on display in the Royal Overseas League until July.
There is no stopping Sam there either; she also did an interview with online blog ‘The Best Address‘ which featured Sam on their homepage. AND Sam has been shortlisted for the Royal Society of British Artists Rome Scholarship, as she was named one of their top 40 Rising Stars.
