As a Surrey-based, independent artist, Susan’s art is exhibited at selected venues across the South East, including London and Surrey.
Susan began to exhibit professionally as a selling artist in November 2017 with First for Art, at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey.
I still remember the joy of selling my first painting there. Since then, I have been developing my use of acrylic paints. Originally a watercolour artist, I enjoy the new depths of colour and structure acrylics afford. My passion for painting includes using mixed media, and by refusing to settle on a style, I am always bringing something new to my exhibitions.
Each artwork is individual, depending on the light of the day or the mood Susan find herself in as she begins to paint. This creates an eclectic collection within her own space and offers an insight into where her mind is at any given time.
