Susan Sheen is a Surrey-based independent artist in the UK.
Susan originally worked in watercolour, but has been focusing on acrylics and mixed media, valuing the depth, structure, and flexibility that acrylics afford. She does not commit to a fixed style; her approach is described as “eclectic” and influenced by things like light, mood, and intuitive choices.
Susan started exhibiting professionally in November 2017, with her first show at the Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey via the “First for Art” platform. Her art is shown in selected venues around the South East (London, Surrey), and some works have been in galleries such as Capital Art Gallery in Greenwich.
On social media, Susan presents herself as a mixed media artist, using intuitive and eclectic themes with works listed under abstract / impressionistic / mixed media styles, especially landscapes, skies, and expressive compositions.
